At an in-person clinic
Ask who would see you, what kind of visit it would be, and whether the visit fee includes a discussion of other options. Bring the offer that caught your eye.
- Who makes the care decision?
- What can we discuss if this medicine is not a fit?
- How do I reach the person handling follow-up?
With licensed remote care
Telehealth means a care visit over a screen, phone or other remote tool. Ask how you will talk, who will read your health history and how you can ask more questions.
In Arizona, the person providing your care must decide if a phone or screen visit can meet your care needs, as of October 3, 2026. Arizona: deciding on remote care
As of October 3, 2026, a person licensed to provide care in another state may register with the matching Arizona board for telehealth. Arizona: out-of-state registration
They must meet rules about their licence, past board actions and insurance against claims about their care, and follow Arizona law.
Get the person's full name and licence type, then ask that Arizona board to confirm registration.
- Which licence or Arizona registration allows you to provide care while I am physically in Arizona?
- What happens if I need an examination in person?
Find out who supplies the medicine
Medicine review is handled by a federal agency called the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The FDA says people buying custom medicines through online care may not know which pharmacy or facility made them; checked September 17, 2026. FDA: who makes a custom medicine
Ask for the maker's name before comparing plans.
- Who prepares the medicine?
- Who sends it and handles questions about its label?
- Can I see a bill with each charge on its own line before I agree?
Keep the local search grounded
The city's account places most of Apache Junction in Pinal County and a small part in Maricopa County, checked October 3, 2026. City of Apache Junction: county context
This helps explain why a local search may mention either county. For the person's licence, use the Arizona board that matches their licence type.
For each care option, use the same questions. Think about travel, privacy, timing and a way to get answers after the visit.
- Use the licence briefing to check the named person.
- Use the cost briefing to compare what each quote includes.
